NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

GORDON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Gordon Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in a regular session on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the school library at 112 Rusk Street, Gordon, Texas 76453. Items to be discussed are as follows:

1. Discuss/Approve Board Policy DEC (LOCAL) regarding employee leave and absences (amount for attendance incentives).

2. Discuss/Approve Proposed Tax Rate for the 2009-2010 School Year.

3. Discuss/Approve Public Meeting to be held in Conjunction with the August 20 Board Meeting to Discuss and Adopt the Budget and Tax Rate for the 2009-2010 School Year.

4. Discuss/Approve 2009-2010 Student Handbook.

5. Discuss/Approve 2009-2010 Employee Handbook.

6. Discuss/Approve Hiring a Head Coach/Athletic Director for the 2009-2010 School Year.

7. Discuss/Approve Hiring a Coach for the 2009-2010 School Year.

8. Discuss/Approve Hiring an Elementary Teacher for the 2009-2010 School Year.

9. Discuss/Approve Transfer Students for the 2009-2010 School Year.

10. Discuss/Approve Contracting with Erath County Appraisal District to Collect School Taxes for Properties Located in Erath County.
