NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

GORDON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Gordon Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in a regular session on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the school library at 112 Rusk Street, Gordon, Texas 76453. Items to be discussed are as follows:

1. Discuss Plan for Old Gym Windows.

2. Discuss/Approve Hiring Sherry Cummings as a teacher for the 2008-2009 school year.

3. Discuss/Approve Gordon I.S.D. Dating Violence Policy.

4. Discuss/Approve Local District Update #2008.01 affecting (LOCAL) policy change to AE (LOCAL) (educational philosophy)

5. Discuss/Approve Train Derailment Emergency Plan.

6. Discuss/Approve Special Meeting to Canvass Election Results.

VI. Superintendent’s Report- enrollment, board training in Stephenville, and financial report.

VII. Future Business

A. Approval of the date and time for the May regular board meeting.
